- The bowler must be a resident of Mumbai or its suburbs.
- The bowler must have a valid birth certificate or school leaving certificate as proof of age.
- The bowler must not have played any official matches for any district, state or national level teams.
- The bowler must not have any medical or physical issues that may hamper his or her bowling.
