Ind Vs Aus 3rd ODI Cricket, was a nail biter which went up to the penultimate ball. Virat Kohli and Suryakumar Yadav’s struck big shots to help India win a thriller of a match against Australia in the 3rd ODI and seal the series with a 2-1 win. The splendid half centuries put India in a match winning mode, despite Australia squeezing India in the death overs.

Before India batted some fine bowling by Akshar Patel, helped India restrict Australia to below 200.

The match came down to the last one ball, when Hardik Pandya managed to get a boundary and take India over the line. Cameron Green and Tim David’s blazing half centuries earlier took Australia to 186/7.

India lost openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul early but Kohli and Suryakumar’s sensational 104-run stand for the third wicket, which came in just 62 balls, almost took the game away from Australia.

Green himself played a big role with the ball in stemming the flow of runs on India in the latter overs but Kohli hit a six off the first delivery to give his team the impetus. Pandya then took the hosts over the line with one ball in hand.

This has been one of the most exciting cricket ODI series and there have some truly impressive performances from the Indians, particularly their batters. As Rohit Sharma said, they would now be hoping that their bowlers come into the party in the death overs of the series against South Africa and the T20 World Cup Cricket later in the year. For now it’s all champagne and celebrations and a goodbye from us!
