Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski has been signed by Barcelona for a fee of up to 50 million euros ($51.14 million), the two clubs announced on Tuesday.
According to a statement from Barcelona, Lewandowski will sign a four-year deal with a release clause of 500 million euros ($511.35 million).

The 26-time Spanish champions stated that Robert Lewandowski, who had one year left on his Bayern Munich contract, left for Barcelona for 45 million euros plus five million euros in add-ons.
The 33-year-old just finished his medical and joined the squad on their preseason tour of the United States.
In 375 games at Bayern, Lewandowski scored 344 goals, helping the team win the league each year and the Champions League in 2020.
The Barcelona club will present its new signing on Wednesday at noon (EDT) in Miami, Spanish media have reported.
