Jeff Bezos Blue Origin voyage to space has turned out to be successful. Blue Origin’s New Shepard rocket took off into the skies over a West Texas launchpad at about 8:12 a.m. local time Tuesday, carrying the world’s richest man, his brother and two others.
Today’s space flight is the first flight with people on board for Blue Origin, founded by Bezos in 2000 with a vision of a future in which millions of people could probably in future live and work in space. The New Shepherd had previously flown 15 times without a crew.

Blue Origin took off from earth just nine days after Briton Richard Branson space tourism company Virgin Galactic’s did a successful inaugural suborbital flight from New Mexico.
Jeff Bezos blasted off for an 11-minute ride on his company’s rocket, creating a new wave in space tourism. For him it became viable and fulfilling a childhood dream to explore the heavens and completed the voyage well within time.
The spaceship floated down on three giant parachutes before firing a retro thruster, sending up a cloud of sand as it gently landed at one or two miles (kilometers) an hour.
“A very happy group of people in this capsule,” said Bezos.
After the Blue Origin returned the first message that everyone got to hear was – Congratulations to all of Team Blue past and present on reaching this historic moment in spaceflight history. This first astronaut crew wrote themselves into the history books of space, opening the door through which many after will pass.
And finally, On July 20, Blue Origin successfully completed New Shepard’s first human flight with four private citizens onboard.
