After Aryan Khan, it is now the turn of Ananya Pandey to be grilled by the Anti-drugs agency Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). She has been summoned for questioning today. The NCB summons were served by a team of the agency which reached her Mumbai residence earlier in the day.
Ananya is expected to appear for questioning at 2 pm, news agency ANI reported.
The anti-drugs agency searched Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s house in Bandra, ‘Mannat’, after the actor visited his son in Mumbai’s Arthur Road jail. According to a report, the agency reached the actor’s house to pick up a few documents.

A separate team of the Narcotics Bureau has reached Mannat, the house of Shah Rukh Khan, whose son Aryan has been arrested after the NCB busted a drug party onboard a cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on October 2.
Aryan Khan meanwhile has applied for bail multiple times but the courts have rejected his petitions. He has now moved to Bombay high court, which is set to hear the 23-year-old’s bail application on October 26.

The NCB had said after arresting Aryan Khan that it is probing a larger nexus involving the drugs trade in the country.
In a statement, Sameer Wankhede, Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) Zonal Director, clarified that team reached SRK’s house to seek certain documents related to the probe and it wasn’t a raid.
The 22-year-old debuted in films in 2019 and has since been counted in the big league, having starred in several high-profile movies.
Ananya Panday‘s name was reportedly featured in the WhatsApp chats of one of the accused in the case involving drugs seized during a rave party on a cruise on October 2. Aryan Khan, his friend Arbaaz Merchant and five others were arrested after raids on the ship by NCB officers in disguise.
Ananya Panday and Aryan Khan, the 23-year-old son of Shah Rukh Khan, are part of a group of star children who have been known to socialise together. Ananya and Aryan’s sister Suhana are best friends.
The NCB’s raid signals that the anti-drugs agency is going for the A-list in its investigations on an alleged “Bollywood-drugs link”. Over the past year, several high-profile actors have been questioned in connection with a drugs angle that emerged in the Sushant Singh Rajput death investigations.
