    Indian Navy Day 2021: Navy Celebrates the Success of Operation Trident

    The Indian Navy today celebrated Navy Day to commemorate the success of its ‘Operation Trident’ during the 1971 War. On the occasion, President Ram Nath Kovind and a number of prominent figures greeted the naval troops and their families.

    The day is remembered to honour the Indian Navy‘s counter-offensive in Operation Trident during the 1971 Indo-Pak war.

    Every year on December 4, the Indian Navy Day is commemorated to honour the Indian Navy’s efforts and accomplishments during Operation Trident, which took place during the 1971 Indo-Pakistan conflict.

    Greetings on Navy Day. We are proud of the exemplary contributions of the Indian navy. Our navy is widely respected for its professionalism and outstanding courage. Our navy personnel have always been at the forefront of mitigating crisis situations like natural disasters.

    Indian Navy Day – Operation Trident Success, the hallmark of our excellent force

    Navy, according to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, is a “excellent force” that safeguards national interests.

    “On this memorable day honouring the courageous ‘Operation Trident‘ of the Indian Navy during the #1971War, my greetings and best wishes to all personnel of this exceptional force that continues to preserve our National Interest through Maritime Security,” he wrote in his tweet.

    This year, the on the Navy Day, Navy dedicated to Swarnim Vijay Varsh to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of India’s victory in the 1971 war. The success of the Indian navy was celebrated by the whole country. Social media is flooded with posts with people talking about this victory as a sign of tribute to the navy and creating an awareness about the difficulties faced by the crew then.
