    Tata Group has acquired Wistron India operations, marking a milestone for the ‘Make in India’ initiative and positioning Tata Electronics as the premier manufacturer of Apple iPhones in the country.

    The move comes as a strategic decision by the Tata Group, as it aims to solidify its position in the high-end smartphone manufacturing sector and expand its presence in the global electronics value chain.

    The acquisition of Wistron India operations includes the manufacturing of popular Apple iPhone models, presenting a crucial opportunity for Tata Group to leverage its expertise in the semiconductor space and bolster its ambitious electric vehicle (EV) endeavors.
