Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif are pulling out all the stops to hype up their friend Ali Abbas Zafar’s upcoming film, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan.” The action-comedy’s trailer dropped on Tuesday, featuring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff in lead roles, and has already garnered a roar of approval from Salman and Katrina.
Salman Khan, who has collaborated with Zafar on blockbuster hits like “Sultan” and “Tiger Zinda Hai,” took to Instagram to share the trailer, expressing his confidence in the film’s success. “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Akki and Tiger best of luck for the movie yeh bohut badi hit hogi (The film will be a big hit),” wrote Salman. He playfully challenged Zafar to break the box office records of his previous films, stating, “Loved the trailer and Ali u need to break Tiger and Sultan ka record with this one. Umeed hai ke Hindustan ko aap aur aap ko Hindustan Eidi dengein (Ali, you have to break the records of Tiger and Sultan. Hopefully, India and you will treat each other with Eidis).”
Katrina Kaif, another close associate of Zafar, echoed Salman’s sentiment. Sharing the trailer on her Instagram story, Katrina wrote, “Buddyyy Ali Abbas Zafar… looking amazing… this Eid will be … So proud of you…. looks epic… Akshayy is on fire…. Tiger Shroff is fab…”

The “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan” trailer itself is a high-octane adrenaline rush. Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff, introducing themselves as an interesting duo – “Dil se soldier aur dimaag se shaitan” (soldiers by heart and devils in their minds) – take on the menacing masked villain Praloy, played by Prithviraj Sukumaran. Praloy has stolen a dangerous weapon, sparking a deadly war. Amidst the action, the trailer hints at a complex relationship between the two heroes, with the line, “Hum dono ek duje ke liye jaan de bhi sakte hai, jaan le bhi sakte hain (We can sacrifice our lives for each other and we can take lives of each other as well).”
