May 23, 2024: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who was admitted to KD Hospital in Ahmedabad due to a heat stroke, has been discharged. The actor, who was rushed to the hospital on May 22 for dehydration, is now recovering well.
Shah Rukh Khan is set to leave for Mumbai from Ahmedabad airport via a chartered plane. Earlier today, his manager, Pooja Dadlani, reassured fans of his recovery with an Instagram post, stating: “To all of Mr Khan’s fans and well wishers – he is doing well. Thank you for your love, prayers and concern,” accompanied by a folded hands emoji.
Shah Rukh Khan Manager Update about the Star’s Health
The KKR team co-owner was in Ahmedabad on May 21 for the IPL 2024 play-off match between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). He received a grand welcome at the ITC Narmada Hotel upon his late-night arrival. However, his condition worsened the following morning, leading to his hospitalization around 1 pm on May 22. Medical professionals advised him to rest adequately.
In the evening, Gauri Khan and KKR co-owners Jay Mehta and Juhi Chawla visited the hospital to check on his health. Juhi Chawla informed News18, “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night, but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening.” She added that SRK plans to cheer for his team during the IPL finals this weekend, health permitting.
Ahmedabad has been experiencing severe heat waves in recent days, contributing to the actor’s health issues.
