The preparations for the Formula E 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix in Hyderabad is at its penultimate stage, with the infrastructure readiness in full swing.

The ‘world’s fastest, lightest, most powerful and efficient electric race car – the Gen3’ is coming to Hyderabad on February 11 for Formula E 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix event. Ace Nxt Gen is the official promoter of the Formula E Race in India in partnership with Formula E and the Telangana government.
Arvind Kumar in an earlier statement had said the event would place Hyderabad as a global destination for e-mobility.
A total of 11 teams with 22 cars would be racing here and they include some of the top racing companies, he said.
“The 2.8km track with 18 turns will see 11 teams with 22 drivers racing through the streets of Hyderabad at the 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix . Arrangements are in full swing to make it a grand success.”
Greenko would fully power the event with renewable energy, in line with Formula E’s net zero carbon strategy and RE100 commitment to achieve 100 percent renewable energy for the championship.
Fans attending the 2023 Greenko Hyderabad E-Prix would see home favourites Mahindra Racing and Jaguar TCS Racing compete against two iconic motorsports namely NEOM McLaren Formula E and Maserati MSG Racing, who joined the Formula E grid for the first time this season.
Capable of a 200mph (322kph) top speed, the GEN3 is 53kg lighter than the GEN2 with a smaller chassis optimised for street racing. An additional front powertrain adds 250kW to the 350kW at the rear, more than doubling the regenerative capacity of the previous GEN2 car to 600kW, with more than 40 percent of the energy used in-race regenerated under braking.
