Feb 15 IND vs ENG 3rd Test: In a crucial juncture of the cricket series, the third Test match between India and England commenced with Rohit Sharma’s decisive toss win, opting to bat first in Rajkot. The Indian squad saw the induction of debutants Dhruv Jurel and Sarfaraz Khan, while Mohammed Siraj and Ravindra Jadeja marked their comeback to the side. Conversely, England made a solitary change as Mark Wood replaced Shoaib Bashir.

With the series locked at 1-1, India pinned hopes on their fledgling middle order, potentially featuring debutants Sarfaraz Khan and wicketkeeper Dhruv Jurel, tasked to fill the void left by seasoned players. Sarfaraz’s Test return was necessitated by KL Rahul’s injury-induced absence, while Jurel’s inclusion hinted at KS Bharat’s lackluster batting form.
