Hyderabad, November 24, 2025: India’s small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) are poised to enter a new era of growth and global visibility, thanks to InDApp, a pioneering digital platform launched by the National Industries Research and Development Council (NIRDC). Designed to centralize access to government schemes, capital, and business opportunities, InDApp aims to become the go-to platform for over 6 crore MSMEs across India.

As part of a government-backed initiative, InDApp is already operational with 388 business facilitation centres spread across the country, from Lucknow to Kerala. By December 2026, the platform plans to expand to 6,000 taluks, making it easier for MSMEs in even the remotest areas to access crucial resources.

“The vision of InDApp is simple: One Nation, One Platform,” says Shambhu Singh, National Chairman of NIRDC. “InDApp connects Indian entrepreneurs to everything they need, government schemes, funding options, training, and international markets, all in one place. Whether it’s a small manufacturer in Uttar Pradesh or an artisan in Kerala, InDApp is designed to bridge gaps, connect businesses, and open doors to the world.”

Backed by eight ministries, including the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, the platform offers a wide range of services to businesses across sectors. These services include:

  • Access to 100+ Government Permissions and Schemes: From the Ministry of Commerce to the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, InDApp simplifies bureaucratic processes for MSMEs, providing live updates on relevant schemes and policies.
  • B2B Marketplace: InDApp’s digital marketplace allows businesses to showcase their products and services, network with other entrepreneurs, and even access overseas markets through the platform’s 250 International Trade Centres (ITCs).
  • Funding Support: InDApp also facilitates access to funding, with NIRDC collaborating with banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions to onboard MSMEs onto the platform and help them raise capital for plant, machinery, and business expansion needs up to Rs 500 crore.
  • Global Business Opportunities: Indian MSMEs can now access ITCs in key international markets like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Kuwait, where they can sell their products year-round without the need for an LLC license. InDApp will soon expand to Gulf countries, ensuring that MSMEs have a global presence at their fingertips.

InDApp is being rolled out in three phases. Two phases are already complete, with the platform’s SaaS (Software as a Service) feature providing tailored support for MSMEs to improve operational efficiency and digital capabilities.

“The future of MSMEs lies in the digital transformation, and InDApp is the vehicle that will drive this change,” says Lalit Varma, Vice Chairman of NIRDC. “With real-time notifications, live government updates, and a user-friendly interface, InDApp allows businesses to stay informed and ahead of the curve.”

Local Presence, Global Reach

While digital tools are at the core of InDApp, the platform blends online and offline support for a truly hybrid experience. In the next six months, NIRDC will deploy over 1,500 field agents to onboard MSMEs across the country, ensuring that no business is left behind.

In Southern India alone, more than 4,000 NIRDC employees are currently working on the ground to assist entrepreneurs with onboarding and navigating the platform.

“We’re making sure that MSMEs everywhere, from urban hubs to rural corners, have the support they need,” adds Singh.

As part of its mission to enhance India’s global competitiveness, InDApp aims to elevate Indian brands on the world stage, ensuring that the efforts of local artisans and manufacturers are recognized globally. This fits perfectly with the government’s vision of a ‘Viksit Bharat’ (Developed India) by 2047.

The formal launch of InDApp will take place on November 26, with the Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises inaugurating the platform.

As India’s MSMEs continue to play a crucial role in the nation’s economic development, InDApp is poised to be the essential digital tool that will fuel their growth, empower local entrepreneurs, and connect them to global markets.
