    Kerala leads India’s New Cases of COVID-19 in 24 hours

    India on Thursday reported 46,164 new coronavirus infections as Kerala witnessed a sharp rise in new cases, as per data released by the union health ministry.

    India’s active COVID-19 cases also rose to 3,33,725 in 24 hours, comprising 1.03% of the total infection count.

    Further, India saw an increase of 11,398 cases in the active COVID-19 caseload in 24 hours.

    𝑴𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏 80 𝒍𝒂𝒌𝒉 (80,40,407) 𝒗𝒂𝒄𝒄𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒅𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒅𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒕 24 𝒉𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔.

    The daily positivity rate was recorded at 2.58%. It has been less than 3% for the last 30 days.

    The weekly positivity rate was recorded at 2.02%. It has been below 3% for the last 62 days, according to the ministry.

    The total tally of COVID-19 cases increased to 3,25,58,530 and the death toll climbed to 4,36,365 with 607 fresh fatalities, according to the data updated at 8 am.
