April 10, 2025: Eloelo, a social live streaming platform has secured $13.5 million in a Series B funding round, with a clear focus on accelerating its GenAI capabilities, expanding globally into Indian diaspora markets, and building what it calls a next-gen media and entertainment powerhouse.
Backed by marquee investors such as Play Ventures, Kalaari Capital, MIXI, Gameskraft Technologies, Griffin Gaming Partners, Waterbridge Ventures, Courtside Ventures, and Rocket Capital, the five-year-old platform has now raised over $50 million in total funding to date.
The Eloelo Goal: Tap Into 400M+ Middle India Users
Eloelo is doubling down on its mission to serve India’s massive, often overlooked “aspirational middle” — a 400 million-strong consumer base seeking vernacular, mobile-first entertainment experiences.

From Pre-Revenue to Global Vision
While Eloelo posted no operating revenue in FY24 and continued to report losses, it generated ₹5 crore from interest on fixed deposits, according to financial statements from the Registrar of Companies. The lack of revenue hasn’t deterred investor enthusiasm.
