Hyderabad Startup to Test Clean Energy Tech in Space with TakeMe2Space

Hyderabad, India, 26th March 2025 – A new space test is in the offing to make space mission energy efficient. Hylenr Technologies, a startup based in Hyderabad, has partnered with space-tech company TakeMe2Space to develop and test LENR (Low Energy Nuclear Reaction) powered compute modules in space. This collaboration aims to test new energy solutions for space missions, marking an important step in space technology development.

TakeMe2Space is exploring several energy technologies, including LENR, to improve heat extraction and reuse in satellite systems. This technology could potentially replace the traditional radioisotope thermoelectric generators (RTGs) used in deep space missions.

Hylenr’s LENR Technology to Power Satellites in Space Test

As part of the agreement, TakeMe2Space will provide the necessary satellite platform and subsystems to test Hylenr’s LENR-based thermo-electric generator in space. This test is an essential part of Hylenr’s goal to validate its clean energy technology in an operational space environment.

Siddhartha Durairajan, Founder and CEO of Hylenr Technologies, said, “Testing our LENR technology in space is a critical step forward. TakeMe2Space’s platform and expertise offer the perfect opportunity to test our system and explore how this technology could be applied for long-duration missions and off-grid power in space.”

Ronak Kumar Samantray, Founder of TakeMe2Space, added, “We are actively looking for alternative energy solutions for our satellite systems. We’re excited to work with Hylenr to test their technology and see how it could improve heat management and energy reuse in our satellites.”

Advancing Space Power Solutions

This partnership represents an important step in using LENR technology for space applications. If successful, LENR-powered systems could provide a reliable, long-lasting energy source for space-based computing. This could help reduce the dependency on solar power, making space missions more efficient and sustainable.

The goal is to develop a system that supports long-duration missions, high-power computing in space, and more efficient energy management for satellites.

Hylenr Technologies, based in Hyderabad, has developed the world’s first cold fusion technology for clean energy generation. The company’s Low Energy Nuclear Reactor (LENR) technology has been patented by the Government of India.

Hylenr’s innovation offers an alternative power source for space missions, including providing heat for Space Missions (MMRTG), steam generation for various industries, and induction heating for both domestic and industrial uses. The company’s LENR systems also reduce the risks associated with space missions.
