September 24, 2025: In a rare show of grassroots digital activism, OG fans of Telugu icon Pawan Kalyan are stepping up to protect his upcoming film They Call Him OG from piracy, days before its global release on September 25, 2025.
With leaked clips of high-octane action sequences surfacing across social media platforms, the U.S.-based Pawan Kalyan Fan Club has launched a Google Form to crowdsource piracy links. The goal? To compile and forward them directly to DVV Entertainment, the film’s production house, in the absence of an official anti-piracy task force.
Ahead of Release, ‘OG’ Fans Mobilize to Protect Film from Leaks
The They Call him OG anti piracy initiative, which began on September 24, reflects the growing concern among fans over unauthorized content circulation. It’s also a testament to their loyalty, as They Call Him OG has already crossed ₹50 crore in advance bookings worldwide, a record-breaking feat for a Pawan Kalyan release.
The film, directed by Sujeeth and starring Emraan Hashmi in his Telugu debut, has generated massive buzz for its gritty storyline and stylized action. But with no formal piracy control team in place, fans have taken it upon themselves to safeguard the film’s theatrical experience.
“Reporting piracy is our way of showing respect to the effort behind the film,” one fan posted on X, tagging the production house and urging others to join the campaign.
