June 21, 2024: Popular singer Lucky Ali has reportedly intensified his fight against what he claims is a land mafia operation targeting his property in Bengaluru. According to recent reports, Ali has filed a complaint with the Karnataka Lokayukta, a state anti-corruption watchdog.
This move comes after Lucky Ali publicly accused IAS officer Rohini Sindhuri and her husband, Sudhir Reddy, of attempting to encroach upon his land. The property, managed by a trust, is said to have a stay order issued in 2007. Ali alleges that Reddy, along with others, is trying to claim ownership despite the legal block.
Previously, Lucky Ali had filed a police complaint against trespassing and forgery of land documents. The involvement of a high-ranking official like Sindhuri adds a new layer to the case. By approaching the Lokayukta, Ali is likely hoping for an impartial investigation into the alleged involvement of a government official in the land dispute.
In a tweet the singer wrote: My farm which is a Trust Property located in Kenchenahalli Yelahanka is being encroached on illegally by Sudhir Reddy (and Madhu Reddy) from the Bangalore Land Mafia. With the help of his wife who is an IAS Officer by the name of Rohini Sindhuri..
Lucky added, they are misusing state resources for their personal gain. They are forcibly & illegally come inside my farm and refusing to show the relevant documents.
It’s important to note that these are accusations, and neither Sindhuri nor Reddy has publicly commented on the matter. The Lokayukta is expected to examine the complaint and decide on the course of action.
I request your help to stop this illegal activity of them trying to prove a false possession before the final court hearing on December 7th.
Please help us as I have no choice other than to take this to the Public.
With Due Respect.
Lucky Ali (Maqsood Mahmood Ali)
This case has garnered significant media attention due to the stature of both parties involved. The outcome of the Lokayukta’s investigation and the eventual legal resolution will be closely watched.
