The base model, featuring an 8-core CPU and 8-core GPU, starts at Rs 134,900, while the higher-end configuration with a 10-core CPU and GPU begins at Rs 154,900. One of the standout features is the option for a nano-textured display, which provides an anti-glare surface without compromising on brightness or color accuracy. The display also supports a 4.5K resolution Retina display with a P3 wide color gamut and up to 500 nits of brightness, making it an excellent choice for creative professionals and those who consume high-definition content.

Connectivity and Accessories

The iMac 24-inch comes with substantial connectivity improvements. The top-end M4 configuration features four USB-C ports that support Thunderbolt 4, while the standard model includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports. This allows users to connect multiple high-speed devices, enhancing the overall functionality of the machine. Apple has also upgraded its accessories, with the Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse now supporting USB-C, ensuring a seamless connection with the new iMac.

iMac Line Up: Apple Intelligence and macOS Sequoia 15.1

With the introduction of macOS Sequoia 15.1, the iMac 24-inch fully supports Apple Intelligence features, bringing enhanced capabilities to users. The software is rolling out simultaneously with iOS 18.1 and iPadOS 18.1, ensuring a cohesive ecosystem across Apple devices. This integration allows for improved productivity tools and a more connected experience.

Enhanced Video Conferencing Features

Recognizing the growing importance of remote communication, Apple has equipped the iMac 24-inch with a 12MP Center Stage camera that supports Desk View. This innovative feature ensures that users remain centered during video calls while showcasing both their presence and a top-down view of their workspace. Additionally, the device is outfitted with a three-microphone array featuring beamforming technology and a six-speaker sound system that supports Spatial Audio and Dolby Atmos, enhancing audio quality for calls and media consumption.

Pricing and Availability

The iMac 24-inch with M4 is available for pre-order, with availability set to commence on November 8. Pricing for the base model with 16GB of unified memory and 1TB SSD starts at Rs 134,900, while the top-tier option with 32GB of unified memory and 2TB SSD is priced at Rs 154,900.

The refreshed iMac 24-inch with the M4 chip is a significant upgrade that enhances performance, connectivity, and user experience. With its vibrant display options, robust hardware, and innovative features, it caters to a wide range of users—from creatives to everyday consumers. As Apple continues to push the boundaries of technology, this latest offering is sure to make a lasting impact in the competitive desktop market.
