Sahdev Dirdo, the internet sensation has regained consciouness, the news was shared by rapper badshah. He shared the update on social media.
Sahdev the 10-year-old boy from Chhattisgarh became an internet sensation after his Bachpan Ka Pyaar video went viral. He met with an accident on Tuesday. Rapper Badshah, who collaborated with him for a remix version of the song, gave the news on Twitter.
“Sahdev is better now and has regained consciousness,” the singer said. “Will go to Raipur to see a good neurosurgeon. “Thank you for your prayers.”
Singer Badshah, who had appeared in a music video with the boy, Sahdev Dirdo, shared an update on his health condition on Instagram.
Bachpan Ka Pyaar Boy Accident: Sahdev regains consciousness
Sahdev was injured when the motorcycle on which he was riding pillion skidded on the road in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district, police said.
The accident took place at around 6:30 pm in Shabri Nagar area and Sahdev, who was not wearing a helmet, fell and suffered a grievous head injury, while the rider sustained minor bruises, Sukma Superintendent of Police Sunil Sharma said.
Sahdev was rushed to the district hospital and after preliminary treatment was shifted to Jagdalpur Medical College hospital, Sharma added. On being alerted about the accident, Sukma Collector Vineet Nandanwar and Sharma visited the district hospital and enquired about his condition.
Sahdev shot to fame earlier this year after a video of him singing Bachpan Ka Pyaar went viral online. He was felicitated by Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel in July. He teamed up with Badshah and Aastha Gill for a revamped version of the song. He also appeared on Indian Idol 12 as a guest.
Badshah had reached out to the child’s family after the accident. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel had also offered them help.
The video clip featuring Dirdo had become enormously popular with social media users. After that, Badshah collaborated with the child to make a revamped version of the song.
