July 25, 2024: Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has announced a strategic partnership with Hero MotoCorp, India’s leading two-wheeler manufacturer, aimed at catalyzing the growth of the startup ecosystem in Kerala. The partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed on Wednesday, fortifying their commitment to foster innovation and entrepreneurship within the state.

Key Highlight of the partnership

Collaboration Goals: The partnership between KSUM and Hero MotoCorp marks a significant milestone in enhancing Kerala’s entrepreneurial landscape by supporting and nurturing startups aligned with the two-wheeler giant’s strategic focus areas.

Support Initiatives: KSUM will curate and recommend startups to Hero MotoCorp, offering them essential resources and support through various stages of their growth. This includes financial assistance, grants, and access to incubation facilities under Kerala’s startup schemes.

Knowledge Sharing: Both partners will conduct knowledge sessions, workshops, and interventions to impart valuable insights and skills to startups, helping them scale and succeed in the competitive market.

Promotional Activities: KSUM will actively promote Hero MotoCorp’s innovation initiatives through awareness campaigns, events, roadshows, and other outreach efforts at both state and national levels. This aims to bolster the visibility and brand presence of Hero MotoCorp among Kerala’s entrepreneurial community.

Strategic Impact: Anoop Ambika, CEO of KSUM, emphasized that this collaboration will pave the way for a more robust entrepreneurial ecosystem in Kerala, driving innovation and economic growth in the region.

Kerala Startup Mission, under the auspices of the Kerala Government, plays a pivotal role in fostering entrepreneurship and supporting early-stage startups through various incubation and development programs.
