Two months after its theatrical premiere in August, the Netflix streaming juggernaut debuted Laal Singh Chaddha. Laal Singh Chaddha actor Aamir Khan had previously stated that the movie will only be made accessible on a streaming service six months after its theatrical debut. But it has arrived early.
The movie, a Forrest Gump adaptation, had a disastrous box office performance throughout its theatrical run, earning barely Rs 130 crore internationally on an alleged Rs 180 crore budget. With less than Rs 70 crore, the movie flopped in India. Aamir made his big-screen comeback with Laal Singh Chaddha, four years after Thugs of Hindostan, another abject failure.
Sharing the film’s poster, Netflix India tweeted on Wednesday night, “Keep your popcorn golgappas ready because Laal Singh Chaddha is NOW STREAMING!😍🪶.”
Amir Khan, Kareena Kapoor’s Laal Singh Chaddha is now streaming on Netflix
Along with Aamir and Kareena Kapoor Khan, the film also stars Naga Chaitanya and Mona Singh in pivotal roles.
