May 28, 2025: If Bollywood ever needed a new word for madcap mayhem, Housefull 5 would be it. The trailer just dropped, and it’s every bit the loud, colorful, confused, and totally extra rollercoaster you’d expect (and secretly love).
This time, the madness floats… literally. The film is set on a swanky cruise ship that sails from London to Spain, but forget sightseeing, we’re here for murder, mistaken identities, and monkey slaps.
Housefull 5: Three Jollys, One Corpse, and Too Many Suspects
The trailer kicks off with Ranjeet (yes, that Ranjeet) revealing that he’s leaving his fortune to his son, Jolly. Great, except there are three Jollys. Yep, Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, and Abhishek Bachchan are all playing versions of Jolly. Because why not?
But just as the Jolly-tangle begins, Ranjeet is murdered. And with three sons and their even more suspicious wives onboard, everyone’s pointing fingers, while Jackie Shroff and Sanjay Dutt show up as investigators trying to untangle this nautical whodunit.
In true Housefull style, the jokes are non-stop and completely unapologetic. One standout moment? Jackie Shroff throws in “Choti bacchi ho kya?” in a totally random but perfectly meme-able moment, a loving roast of his son Tiger Shroff’s viral line. And yes, Akshay is once again slapped silly by a monkey. Some things never change, and we’re glad they don’t.
Here’s the curveball: Sajid Nadiadwala has revealed that Housefull 5 will have multiple endings, with different shows revealing different killers. That’s right, you could watch it at 3 PM and have a totally different climax than your friend at 6 PM. It’s wild, it’s bold, and it’s a first for Bollywood.
With a cast that reads like a 2000s nostalgia reunion, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Sonam Bajwa, Fardeen Khan, Chitrangada Singh, Nana Patekar, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Dino Morea, this is Housefull turned up to eleven.
The trailer promises exactly what it should, laughs, nonsense, and surprise endings on a boat full of Bollywood legends. It’s over-the-top, completely unhinged, and honestly? We’re ready to hop aboard.
