November 1, 2025: Shah Rukh Khan may have turned 60, but according to Shashi Tharoor, the math, and the mirror, don’t quite agree.
In a birthday post on X (formerly Twitter), the Congress MP and literary firecracker sent his wishes to the Bollywood icon with a twist of comic skepticism. “I’m finding this ‘60’ number deeply suspicious,” Tharoor wrote, launching what he called a “fact-checking investigation” into SRK’s age.
The results? No grey hair. No signs of slowing down. And an energy level that could power half of Mumbai’s nightlife. Tharoor joked that Khan might be starring in a real-life remake of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, ageing in reverse while the rest of us just try to keep up.
Tharoor’s Birthday Probe: Is SRK Ageing in Reverse?
He laid out his “evidence” with the flair of a courtroom drama:
- Youthful hairstyle evolution
- Lighting-assisted wrinkle denial
- Energy levels that defy biology
Tharoor even predicted that by SRK’s 70th birthday, he might be auditioning for teenage roles. “I don’t expect to be around when he reverts to a child actor,” he quipped, noting he’d be 79 by then.
The post was met with laughter, love, and a few raised eyebrows, much like SRK’s own filmography. And just days earlier, Tharoor had praised Aryan Khan’s debut series The Ba****ds of Bollywood, calling it “OTT gold” and a perfect remedy for his sick day blues.
Whether SRK is 60 or just pretending to be human, one thing’s clear: he’s still the King, and Tharoor’s tweet was the royal roast we didn’t know we needed.
