To ensure the success of India’s  “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign, the Department of Post is arranging free door-to-door delivery of the national flag “tricolour” for Independence Day celebrations.

Through the post office website, you may purchase the national flag for Rs 25. There will be no pole required for this item, which will have measurements of 20 inches in length and 30 inches in width.

A modification to the National Flag Code of India now permits the flying of the Indian flag at residences day and night. Previously, the Tricolour could only be flown between sunrise and dusk.

On the website of the Ministry of Culture, it is stated that “Har Ghar Tiranga is a campaign under the auspices of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it to commemorate the 75th year of India’s independence. The initiative’s goal is to instill a sense of patriotism in people’s hearts and raise awareness of the Indian National Flag.

A notification from the Department of Department of Post dated July 28, 2022 states that the consumer must place an order, pay for it, and then have the flags delivered from the closest post office that has them in stock. Customers will receive the national flag for free, according to the Department.

The postal service states that it will sell national flags through its ePostoffice Portal as part of the “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign. The customer must place an order on this website, pay for their order, and have their flags delivered by the closest post office that has them in stock.

How to buy and get the Indian National Flag Home – Step by Step

Visit your local Post Office to buy Tiranga or order online at https://bit.ly/3QhgK3r, per India Post’s tweet.

Step 1: Open the link and sign up.

Step 2: Enter the credentials to log in.

Step 3: Click “National Flag” under “Products” and add it to your shopping cart.

Step 4: After clicking “Buy now,” enter your mobile number once more and double-check the OTP.

Step 5- Select “Proceed to Payment.”

Step 6: Pay the Rs 25 using your preferred method.
