India vs Ban 2nd test ended in favor of India. Team India won the second Test by three wickets, completing a 2-0 series sweep in Mirpur on Sunday. Chasing 145 for victory on a turning track, India overcame a batting collapse to reach the target in the first session of the final day at Mirpur’s Shere Bangla National Stadium.

Ravichandran Ashwin top-scored for India with an unbeaten 42, in the 2nd Test while off-spinner Mehidy Hasan (5-63) was the pick of the Bangladesh bowlers. Bangladesh had won the previous one-day international series between the two countries by a score of 2-1.

Indian Captain KL Rahul post match said -You have faith in the guys in the middle (during such situations). We’ve played enough cricket to know that someone will step forward to win the game. But, I won’t lie, there was a lot of tension in the locker room. The wicket was difficult to bat on, and they put us under pressure in both innings. To some extent, it was a new-ball surface; as the ball softened, it became easier to score runs. It came down to who could play the new ball better in the 2nd Test in Bangladesh Pitch. We lost a few more wickets than we would have liked (in the chase), but we got the job done. Will take the victory. That (bowling attack) has been going on for a long time. We’ve done the job wherever we’ve gone in recent years.

It has been a fantastic series – Cheteshwar Pujara after India wins 2nd Test in Bangladesh

It’s been a fantastic competitive series. I’ve been working hard on my game. I played a lot of first-class cricket and then worked hard on my game, which helped me score these runs. When there is enough time between Test matches, it helps you prepare. I believe that playing first-class cricket is critical to progress. You must be mentally prepared, and I believe that if you are mentally strong and prepare well, you will do well. Cheteshwar Pujara, Man of the Series commented.

2nd Test in Bangladesh – India won by 3 wickets

We didn’t have much batting left. It was the kind of game where we just let it go when we could have stopped it. Shreyas hit the ball very well. In these kinds of situations, you sometimes feel like you need to get ahead of things. They bowled good lines, and I felt like we didn’t put enough trust in our defences. I liked how Shreyas hit the ball. Man of the Match: R Ashwin expressed
