Manchester United faced off against Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League (EPL) and emerged victorious with a 3-0 win on Tuesday. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial both scored for United, who are currently seeking to acquire a new striker as replacement for Ronaldo to further improve their future performances.
In the Man United vs nottm Forest match, Rashford scored the first goal in the 19th minute for United and Martial added a second three minutes later with a shot that was deflected by the Forest goalkeeper. Forest attempted to score in the final minutes of the first half, but the goal was disallowed due to offside by the assistant referee.
During the second half, United had several opportunities to score and finally secured the win in the 87th minute with a goal from Fred. Chelsea also won on Tuesday, defeating Bournemouth 2-0 with goals from Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.

Rashford scored from a wonderful corner kick routine initiated by Christian Eriksen. The England forward would then turn provider three minutes later as he collected the ball in the left wing and cut inside before providing a pass to Martial. United’s No.9 would then hit a low shot that hit Wayne Hennessey’s palm and then went into the net.
Forest thought they had pulled one back in the final few minutes of the half when a freekick from the left was bundled into the net by Willy Boly. However, VAR intervened and ruled it out as the Forest defender was offside.
The second half saw United create a host of chances with Antony and Martial pulling out fantastic saves from Hennessey. Casemiro, who had a world-class performance on Tuesday, would then setup Fred to put in the final touches of the win in the 87th minute as United secured all three points.

Ten Hag’s men are now one point off Tottenham Hotspur in fourth and also have a game in hand.
Chelsea were also able to secure a win on Tuesday as they defeated Bournemouth by a margin of 2-0 at home. Kai Havertz and Mason Mount were on the scoresheet as Graham Potter’s men dominated the Cherries in terms of possession.
Kai Havertz gave the Blues the lead in the 16th minute and Mason Mount made it 2-0 in the 24th minute to seal the deal for the Blues.
