According to a rumoured news Xiaomi to be preparing to launch its next major version of user interface (UI), dubbed ‘MIUI 13,’ alongside the Xiaomi 12 smartphone in the near future, and a fresh report claims that the upcoming version of MIUI will prioritise smoothness and fluency.
3 Highlights of the Xiaomi New MIUI Phone
- Focus Computing 2.0, liquid storage, and atomic memory will all be included in the MIUI 13, resulting in speedier read and write times. The MIUI 13 will have a 15 percent to 52 percent increase in system fluency over the previous version.
- The company will also unveil MIUI 13 for tablets, in addition to the MIUI 13 system for smartphones. According to GizChina, the MIUI 13 for tablets is known as MIUI 13 Pad.
- MIUI 13 will also feature a slew of updates to the user interface that will vastly improve the overall experience.
The update was originally scheduled for the Mi MIX 4’s launch. The developers, on the other hand, required extra time to perfect the software.
Meanwhile, the Xiaomi 12 is claimed to include a curved screen with a punch-hole in the centre for the selfie camera, 120 Hz refresh rate and “2K” resolution, twin speakers, and a triple back camera system with a 50 MP primary sensor from Samsung or Sony.
MIUI 13 will also bring lots of changes that will greatly improve the user experience
A recent report said that the vanilla model of Xiaomi 12 will feature support for 100W fast charging technology, which is unlike 120W fast charging technology that is included in Mi 10 Ultra and Mi 11T Pro among others.
The Xiaomi 12 will feature symmetrical stereo speaker grilles, likely on the top and bottom of each phone. The speakers on the Mi 11 and Mi 11 Ultra are placed asymmetrically – the top speaker is on the left side, the bottom one is on the right side.
Xiaomi has been teasing the upcoming software update for its Pad 5 tablet. Known as MIUI 13 Pad or MIUI 13 for Pad, the customized operating system promises to bring a couple of useful upgrades for owners of the Xiaomi Pad 5. MIUI 13 is expected to be officially launched in China on December 28.
The next update that will be brought in by the MIUI 13 Pad update is much more specific: Users will be able to multitask more freely on the Xiaomi Pad 5 thanks to dual-window capability.
The same app, such as a browser, will be able to be opened in two windows, allowing the user to carry out multitasking activities such as shopping and reading product reviews at the same time. MIUI 13 for Pad will be launched at the Xiaomi event taking place on December 28, which starts at 19:30 China time.
