Rapper Kanye West’s old car auction has set a record of sorts. According to reports, the rapper’s 2019 F-150 Raptor made history when it sold for $86,900, including the $10 buyer premium, making it the most expensive Raptor ever sold, during a Musser Bros. Auctions sale that included a total of seven automobiles previously owned by the 44-year-old artist.
The auction house’s owner, Harold Musser, told TMZ that the sale brought in $434,780 and drew 137,000 views and over 800 bids, making it their greatest ever auction.
Kanye West Raptor gets a record auction deal
Aside from the record-breaking Kanye West Raptor, a 2017 Ford F-250 sold for $43,250, while a 2016 Ford F-250 drew 84 bids before selling for $39,250.
Another 2019 Raptor sold for $72,515 with slightly higher mileage, while a 2018 Raptor sold for $1,000 less. To finalise the transaction, two 2020 Ford Expeditions were sold for $62, 250 and $67,000, respectively.
The automobiles were previously sold by the 21-time Grammy Award winner to a local Ford dealership in Cody, Wyoming, where Kanye, who has officially changed his name to Ye, owns a ranch that is currently on the market for $11 million.
In addition to the ranch, the Gold Digga rapper has put his $57 million Malibu property on the market. This follows his split from his wife, Kim Kardashian West, earlier this year.
Despite their divorce, Kanye has promised to win back Kim Kardashian, who has been romantically linked with Pete Davidson.
