The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the NEET results 2023. The NEET results , also known as the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test-Undergraduate, (NEET UG 2023) was released on June 13th. The scorecards will soon be accessible on the websites neet.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in.
Along with the NEET results, the NTA has released the names of the top-ranking students from all over India, their respective scores, and the cut-off marks categorized by various groups.
The medical entrance examination took place on May 7th, 2023, except in Manipur. However, for 8,753 candidates from Manipur, the exam was conducted on June 6th across 11 cities, including the capital city of Imphal.
The provisional answer keys for both the May 7th and June 6th NEET exams have been published, along with the recorded responses and copies of the Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets submitted by the candidates. The final answer key will be released either simultaneously with the results or at a later date.
For State quota and other seats falling under the ambit of States, candidates may apply to their domicile States and merit list as per State rules, based on All India Rank, will be prepared by concerned Counselling Authorities. The counselling for Private Medical Colleges will also be conducted by the concerned State Counselling Authority.
Like past years, Maharashtra had the highest number of candidates this year as well. A total of 277903 candidates had registered for the exam, of whom 273819 took the test and 131008 have cleared the exam
The details and schedule of counselling will be available on the websites of Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Medical Education Directorates of States as applicable.
Qualified candidates from the NEET Results 2023 have to further complete the formalities with the respective Counselling Authorities viz DGHS, Medical Education Directorates of States, etc. for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses.
