Hyderabad, India, August 7, 2025: HYLENR Technologies, a clean energy startup developing carbon-free thermal systems using patented Low Energy Nuclear Reactions (LENR), today announced the successful closure of its Pre-Series A funding round, raising approximately $3.0 million. The company plans to use the funds to fast-track its transition from pilot projects to commercial product launch.
The funding round was co-led by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, both early-stage investors focused on energy transition and deep-tech. Also participating were individual investors Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda. PwC advised HYLENR on the transaction, with Samvad Partners serving as legal counsel.
The new capital enables HYLENR to advance its proprietary LENR-based systems designed to generate high-efficiency, carbon-free industrial heat and power — a segment increasingly in focus as industries seek alternatives to fossil fuels.
“HYLENR’s LENR technology is disruptive; it represents a leap forward in redefining how the world approaches industrial heat and energy generation,” said Karan Goshar, Partner at Valour Capital. “We’re backing a team that has the right mix of technical depth and execution capability.”
Early Traction and Industry Interest for HYLENR ‘s LENR Systems

Founded in 2024 and based in Hyderabad, HYLENR is developing a scalable pipeline of heat energy products, with outputs ranging from 7.2kW for small-scale use to 1MW systems for industrial applications. The startup has secured two patents — covering both process innovation and system architecture — as it pursues a product roadmap targeted at the US, Europe, India, and Japan.
“Our lab data shows significant energy gains. The interest we’re seeing from both government and private industry underscores the potential of LENR to serve as a foundation for clean energy in industrial processes,” said Siddhartha Durairajan, HYLENR Chairman and Managing Director.
“We’re now moving from research to real-world deployment,” added Ram Ramaseshan, Co-Founder and CEO. “This round gives us the firepower to meet commercial demand and scale manufacturing.”
HYLENR has launched pilot projects with leading government bodies and industrial players, aiming to phase out fossil-fuel-based heating systems with next-generation clean energy alternatives. The company is positioning its LENR systems as a safer, scalable, and cost-effective alternative, particularly suited to high-energy-use sectors such as manufacturing, oil & gas, desalination, and district heating.
Looking Ahead: $25M Series A Planned
As it moves toward wider commercial deployment, HYLENR is targeting a $25 million Series A round to expand R&D, deepen engineering capabilities, and forge international strategic partnerships. The company is particularly focused on attracting clean energy-focused investors aligned with its mission to decarbonise industrial heat at scale.
The innovation behind HYLENR is rooted in the work of Padma Shri Dr. Prahlada, a respected scientist known for his contributions to India’s missile defense programs, and Dr. Varaprasad, Chief Scientific Officer and a specialist in LENR science.
HYLENR is an energy innovation company pioneering LENR-based hybrid heat systems for industrial decarbonisation. Established in 2024, the Hyderabad-based startup aims to deliver safe, scalable, and high-efficiency clean thermal solutions across sectors. The company holds patents for both its process technology and product architecture.
