Redmi Note 12 pro series will arrive in India on 5th January 2023. Xiaomi has made it public that it will bring the Redmi Note 12 Pro series as scheduled. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is already available in China.

The Redmi Note 12 Pro teasers focus on it having OIS for the main camera. The Pro is basically the same phone as the Pro+, only the latter’s main camera is a 200 MP one instead of 50 MP and the Pro has 67W charging vs. 120W on the Pro+. The Discovery edition is a Pro+ with a 4,300 mAh battery (down from 5,000) and 210W charging.

Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is already available in China. It comes with a starting price of CNY 2,099 (approximately FRs 23,000). The phone comes with a 6.67-inch Full HD OLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.

There will be a regular Redmi Note 12, followed by a Redmi Note 12 Pro and, the star of the show – the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. Xiaomi is busy teasing some of the features on the Redmi Note 12 Pro models, showing off its various features. The phone is likely to bring a 200MP camera sensor, a 120Hz AMOLED display, and some more. The pricing is, however, under the wraps.

Redmi Note 12 Series Price Leaked

A new leak now gives us a good idea about that. According to tipster Paras Guglani (@passionategeekz), we have a fair idea on the price of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus. The Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus is likely to cost Rs. 24,999 for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The higher variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will cost Rs. 26,999

The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset. It is expected to offer up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. To perform camera duties, the device will offer a 200 MP primary camera on the back.

Like the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus, Redmi Note 12 Pro is already launched in china. The handset comes with similar specs as the Plus model. It is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 1080 SoC and runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12 operating system.

However, instead of a 200 MP camera, the Redmi Note 12 Pro offers a 50MP camera. Also, it offers 67 watt charging support. While the Redmi Note 12 Pro Plus comes with 120 watt fast charging.

In China, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1080 processor, which is also powering the recently launched Realme 10 Pro+ smartphone. The latter is priced at Rs 24,999, and we expect the company to price the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ at a similar price. The handset features a triple rear camera setup. This will be India’s first phone with a 200-megapixel Samsung HPX primary sensor.

It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, and even has stereo speakers with support for Dolby Atmos. The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ has X-axis linear motor for better haptic feedback. Under the hood, there is a typical 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 120W fast charging.

On December 19 Redmi revealed : The #RedmiNote12 Pro 5G is here to (un)shake up the 𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐀 game in its segment. Loaded with a segment-first 𝘚𝘶𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘖𝘐𝘚 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘳𝘢, steady pictures and videos will be your new normal!
