June 28, 2025: Vodafone Idea (Vi) is raising the bar in India’s premium postpaid segment with the launch of its new Vi Max Family Plan, a power-packed offering that combines connectivity, entertainment, and flexibility under one roof.
At ₹871 per month, the plan is designed to serve modern digital families by offering two mobile connections—a primary and a secondary—with generous data allocations, OTT subscriptions, and 5G access.
Key Benefits at a Glance:
Netflix Basic included for the primary user
120 GB total data: 70 GB for the primary user, 40 GB for the secondary, and 10 GB of sharable data
Massive 400 GB rollover (200 GB per user)
Unlimited night data between 12 am and 6 am
Free unlimited calls (local, STD, national roaming)
3,000 free SMS/month
In addition to Netflix, Vi offers subscribers a ‘Choice’ benefit, letting them select one entertainment partner—options include Amazon Prime, JioCinema, SonyLIV, or Fancode—through the Vi Movies & TV app. For added utility, users can choose between Norton Mobile Security or EaseMyTrip travel perks, such as flight discounts.
The plan supports unlimited 5G data in select cities including Delhi-NCR, Mumbai, Chandigarh, Patna, and Bengaluru, giving users high-speed access where Vi’s 5G coverage is live.
Families can expand the plan by adding up to six additional lines, each at ₹299/month, with every member receiving 40 GB of data and the same voice call benefits.
This strategic move by Vi isn’t just about pricing—it’s about value, offering urban users a consolidated solution for connectivity, streaming, and travel or security, all on one bill.
