New World Records are being written every day at Tokyo 2020. Today, China Women’s cycling team sprint team has rewritten the Olympics and world record at the Cycling Track at Tokyo2020

The Chinese team have broken the World and Olympics record in the women’s team sprint with a rapid time of 31.804.

It was a terrific day for China (BAO Shanju / ZHONG Tianshi) have broken the world and Olympic record in the women’s team sprint with a rapid 31.804 time.

The WR (32.034) was actually slower than the OR (31.928), because the cycling governing body UCI never ratified the Rio 2016 Olympic record of China as a world record.

China and Germany will contest for gold and silver; ROC and Netherlands for bronze.
