Pre-orders for the Google Pixel 6a are now open in India, with prices starting at Rs 43,999. At Google’s I/O conference in May, the Pixel 6a was unveiled.

Google Pixel 6a cost and release date in India
The official MRP for the Pixel 6a is Rs 43,999. For those who have an Axis Bank card, the cost would be Rs 39,999 during the pre-booking period. There is a Rs. 4000 discount offer for Axis Bank card holders. The smartphone goes on sale starting July 28, 2022
In addition, Google will give exchange bonuses of up to Rs 6,000 for Pixel devices and a few other brands of smartphones, or Rs 2,000 for any other smartphone.
When purchasing the new Pixel phone, those who choose to get a Nest Hub Gen2, Pixel Buds A Series, or Fitbit Inspire 2 can do so for Rs 4,999 each. A three-month trial of Google One and YouTube Premium are included with the Pixel 6a. In the meantime, Flipkart in India will start selling the Pixel Buds Pro on July 28 for Rs 19,990.
Specifications for the Google Pixel 6a
The 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED screen on the Pixel 6a has a refresh rate of 90Hz. The Pixel 6a is available in Charcoal and Chalk when it launches in India. The phone’s back features the same horizontally positioned camera module as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro models.
The Tensor GS101 chipset that powers the Pixel 6 series is also used in the Pixel 6a. It will include 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. A 12MP option and a 12MP ultra-wide camera are combined in the back’s primary camera. It has an 8MP front camera. The Pixel camera now has a number of software-based camera functions like Magic Eraser and Nightsight. The phone comes pre-installed with Android 12 and includes a 4,306mAh battery with support for fast charging.
Furthermore, the smartphone includes Google’s Titan M2 processor for hardware-level security. Other Pixel-specific software capabilities like the Recorder, Live Caption, and Live Translate are also included. Additionally, it has an adaptive battery that, according to Google, is a first for Pixel phones and can run for more than 24 hours2 and up to 72 hours when in the Extreme Battery Saver mode. The impending Android 13 update will be one of the first to reach the Pixel 6a.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and a special ear shape on Google’s Pixel Buds Pro guarantee the ideal fit. The Pixel Buds Pro may be wirelessly charged and have a listening time of up to 11 hours or up to 7 hours with active noise cancellation.
