Keyshia mom Frankie Lons was supposedly partying at her Oakland home, where she apparently relapsed after a decades-long battle with addiction, family members confirmed.
Her death was first announced by Cole’s sister Elite Noel, who shared the news on Instagram, describing her passing as “the worst pain ever … to see my mama in a body bag on her birthday! My heart so f—- broke.”

Lons had been on a “long and hard excursion to temperance” and notably stamped 60 clean days in March 2020, the site revealed.
Cole, 39, presently can’t seem to offer a public expression in regards to the passing of her mom, and her agent didn’t quickly react to our solicitation for input.
The R&B craftsman has been open about examining Lons’ battles with temperance before.
“Each time my mom backslides [sic], she makes me extremely upset more than it was at that point broken,” Cole wrote in an Instagram post in August 2018.
