November 19, 2025: Contemporary Now arrives in Hyderabad for the first time, bringing together some of India’s most influential galleries and contemporary artists for a five-day showcase from November 21 to 25 at Spirit Connect, near RamaNaidu Studio, Film Nagar. After a successful debut in Chennai, the exhibition now opens its doors to Hyderabad’s growing community of art enthusiasts and collectors.

Organised by Art Connect, Hyderabad, the exhibition is presented in collaboration with Ashvita’s (Chennai) and partner galleries Ojas Art, Asign, Archer Art Gallery, and Art Alive Gallery. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to curatorial depth, cultural dialogue, and widening public access to contemporary art.

Featuring works by 34 senior contemporary artists, the exhibition spans figuration, abstraction, sculpture, and installation. Each piece offers a layered exploration of identity, memory, regional culture, and the shifting rhythm of everyday life, capturing the way Indian contemporary art continues to evolve within a global context.

Freshly sourced from their primary galleries, these artworks arrive ready to engage collectors and spark conversation, inviting viewers to pause, reflect, and connect with the narratives embedded within each creation.

“Contemporary Now is our way of opening Hyderabad to the living pulse of Indian art. This is not just an exhibition, it is an invitation to engage, reflect, and begin collecting with intention,” says Miheeka Bajaj, Founder of Art Connect.

Echoing this sentiment, Ashvin E. Rajagopalan, Director of Ashvita’s, adds, “Our collaboration with Art Connect is rooted in thoughtful curation and cultural dialogue. Each artwork here is a conversation waiting to happen.”

More than an exhibition, Contemporary Now positions itself as a national platform, one that encourages Hyderabad to see, experience, and live with art in new and meaningful ways.
