OpenAI shared on X that the latest version has introduced new dashboards, metrics, and integrations in the fine-tuning API to give developers more control, and adding new ways to build custom models with OpenAI.
GPT-4 is OpenAI’s most sophisticated system to date, designed to produce safer and more useful responses. It stands out for its ability to solve complex problems with greater accuracy, thanks to its expanded general knowledge and problem-solving abilities.
The new model boasts unprecedented creativity and collaborative potential. It can generate, edit, and iterate with users on creative and technical writing tasks, such as composing songs, writing screenplays, or adapting to a user’s writing style. Moreover, GPT-4 can accept images as inputs, providing captions, classifications, and analyses, thereby expanding its multimodal capabilities.
GPT-4 can handle over 25,000 words of text, facilitating long-form content creation, extended conversations, and document search and analysis. This extended context window allows for more nuanced and coherent interactions over longer periods.
