Xiaomi, the global technology brand, has launched a new smartphone in the Indian market, the Redmi 13C 5G. The phone is aimed at the budget-conscious 5G buyers who want a powerful performance and a stunning camera.
The Redmi 13C 5G features a 6.74-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core processor and comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 1TB via a microSD card. The phone also supports memory extension, which can boost its RAM capacity by using the internal storage.

The Redmi 13C 5G boasts a 50MP AI dual camera setup on the back, which includes a 2MP macro lens and a 0.08MP auxiliary lens. The phone offers various filter styles with filmCamera, a feature that emulates real, classic film camera effects.
The Redmi 13C 5G packs a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging and can deliver up to 23 hours of video streaming. The phone also has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC, FM radio, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone runs on Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.
The Redmi 13C 5G is available in four color options: Midnight Black, Navy Blue, Glacier White, and Clover Green. The phone is priced at Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB+128GB variant, Rs. 15,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant, and Rs. 17,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. The phone will go on sale from December 10 on Croma¹ and other online and offline platforms.
