Chiranjeevi was delighted to share that Salman Khan has come on board to act in his movie Godfather today. The Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy star in a tweet said it will add a big KICK to the movie’s entertainment quotient.
Sharing the picture with Bhai with a bouquet Chiranjeevi called it an absolute joy to team up with him. Godfather is a commercial entertainer, directed by Mohan Raja. The film is the official Telugu remake of the Malayalam superhit film, Lucifer.
On March 16, the Telugu superstar confirmed the same by announcing it on Twitter. He welcomed Salman Khan onboard Godfather and shared a sweet message for him.

Lucifer marked Prithviraj Sukumaran’s directorial debut. The commercial film starred Mohanlal, Vivek Oberoi and Manju Warrier in lead roles. Prithviraj played a cameo in his directorial venture. Salman Khan is likely to reprise Prithviraj’s role in Chiranjeevi’s Godfather.
Godfather is a political action thriller, directed by Mohan Raja. The film is jointly produced by Konidela Production Company, Jayam Company and NVR Cinema LLP. Apart from Chiranjeevi and Salman Khan.
Godfather features Nayanthara, Satyadev Kancharana, Harish Uthaman, Jayaprakash and Vamsi Krishna in important roles. It is rumoured that Ram Charan, Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan might also play cameos in this film. However, an announcement regarding the same is awaited. The commercial entertainer has cinematography by Nirav Shah and music by S Thaman.
