In a tense game against India, playing their first men’s semi-final in hockey since Moscow 1980, Belgium pulled away in the final quarter to run out 5–2 winners and book their spot in a second-straight gold medal final.
Alexander Hendrickx scored a hat-trick, including the two penalty corners to give Belgium their third and fourth goals which they never looked back from.
India still has a chance to go for Bronze at in the competition having lost their semi-final match to Belgium and that is what billions of Indian are awaiting for now.

First-half goals from Dilpreet Singh and Gurjant Singh followed by a late strike from Hardik Singh took India to yet another impressive win with various dignitaries and fans expressing their happiness on social media platform Twitter.
